So, today is my first day in IDM. It’s pretty interesting. Apparently, I’m supposed to write a blog. I don’t think there is really any thing particular that I have to write about so I’m just going to write what’s on my mind.
I am going to get my license today! I’m really nervous. Also, I have debate today. So, I have a pretty busy day!
I’m not really into these kind of movies but that was an awesome movie, I was very interested in the story it was telling. I’m going to tell my parents to watch this one I think they will like it. Oh yeah and the Cardinal’s are playing today and I’m so watching it haha!
I haven’t gone to sleep before eleven in two weeks. I never get more than five hours of sleep two nights in a row. And, really, it’s my fault.
I know that might not sound too bad to some of you, but I got ten or eleven hours of sleep a night during the summer. But, since I’m a night owl, I find myself unable to sleep before eleven, midnight, or even one o’clock. So I turn on my laptop and write. Sometimes, I go downstairs and sort through our DVDs at midnight to see if there’s anything worth watching. My eyes really start to get heavy around one-thirty, although I can force myself to stay awake until three sometimes.
However, there are advantages to staying up late. I get to see the stars if I ever go outside, and, interestingly enough, I get more done between nine and midnight than the rest of the day. I edited over one hundred and fifty pages of my book in four days by working when the moon is out, and I’ve been writing my articles and doing my homework after the rest of my family goes to bed. But boy, do I pay for it during the day! When I grow up and go to college I’m not going to have classes until noon, and I’m going to have a job where I don’t have to go in until eight p.m. That sounds like fun to me. No more waking up at six and having a throbbing headache all day and falling asleep in Biology.
well this week has sucked and I’m ready for it to be over but on an amazing note I won the game in history and i was pretty happy about that
So I don’t have anything to write but I’m stressed out because i have to finish my podcast maybe after school I have no idea.. no time in class D:
The movie Shattered Glass, which was nominated for the Golden Globe in 2004 and 10 other awards by Director Billy Ray, portrays the true story of Stephen Glass. Glass was a young, successful journalist working for “The New Republic Magazine” who was caught fabricating multiple articles.
As we watch this movie, be prepared to comment on his actions and those of his co-workers. Also, pay attention to how camera, angle, music and focus affect the audience reaction to the story as it is told.
After watching the movie, please comment on your feelings and what you learned from the movie.
Have you ever questioned the reliability of a news source? If so, why? Do you ever watch a movie, commercial, or newscast and just take it for truth? Has this movie changed your attitude in anyway? If so, how?
You can watch the trailer www.imdb.com/title/tt0323944/.

I am terrified of pigs.
I know that’s not that scary, you know? I mean, they’re pigs! I could kill one. I eat them regularly, sizzling and dripping in syrup or in between slices of bread with mustard. But the thought of one looking at me, with little piggy black eyes…eugh! I think it’s because of the movies and books I’ve watched and read…Animal Farm (communist, evil pigs), Willow (Bavmorda turns the army into nasty little pigs), Spirited Away (when her parents are eating the food and then they can’t stop and just keep gorging themselves and turn into huge pigs…!). I hate them! Yeuck! And in Grapes of Wrath, which I have to read for AcaDec, they say that pigs can eat babies. I just want to go and kill all the pigs in the world. But then, I think we would have too much bacon to eat.
Game Day today! Time to make a statement for the other teams! Show Low wants to beat us really bad because we destroyed them last year… We have to come out ready for war. This is gonna be a great game!
