It’s never too early to begin planning for college! Below is a list of college planning resources and scholarship information for Native American students. Be sure to check back regularly for updates!
ASA serves to engage students through a series of programs and services designed to assist in their academic success, with a focus on retention and success of underrepresented students, with expanding contributions to all undergraduates. Programs provided include AZ Assurance Scholar's Program, New Start, Prodigy, Student Support Services/TRiO, and Pathway to Academic Student Success (PASS) Probation Program.
Students interested in this program are encouraged to begin the requirement process starting their freshman year. You must have completed the FASFA before March 1, every year.
Office of Early Academic Outreach
NASEP is a part of the Office of Early Academic Outreach at the University of Arizona. The Office of Early Academic Outreach partners with The University of Alaska-Anchorage in the Indigenous Alliance in an attempt to effect a systematic change in the hiring patterns on Indigenous Americans in STEM fields. NASEP is a year-long program designed to provide Native American high school students with a vision of a career in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field.
The NACAC website provides tools for transitioning from high school to college. It's never too early to start planning! Tools provided include college preparation, college search, applying to college, paying for college, and succeeding in college.

American Indian College Fund
Institutions located on or near Indian reservations that provide access to postsecondary education, accredited degrees and vocational training for both Indian and non-Indian students. Indian culture and tradition are a part of the curricula, and they all share the mission of tribal self-determination and service to their respective communities.
