Samsung Winners Give

On August 10, junior high STEM students presented the Phoenix Herpetological Society $35,000 charitable dollars! STEM students at the junior high recently received a national award from Samsung for their creative device that can detect wildlife and warn drivers. As part of their award, they had the opportunity to choose a charity to support. We greatly enjoyed sharing our good fortune with the Phoenix Herpetological Society at our assembly. We are so proud of our students!

A Busy, Busy Summer

Our teachers and staff may be asking: “Summer? What Summer?” A lot goes into the start of a school year. Through the summer, maintenance, custodial, and technology staff are very busy with projects that they need to complete in a very short time. We are hiring and planning training courses. Teachers are taking courses to get ready for the new year and to be properly certified. We have CPR and health tech trainings, special education training, summer athletic camps, new teacher induction, all new staff training, and the rowdy all staff training. We are very proud of our hardworking staff and the time they put in to be awesome educators. Thank you to all those who have worked so hard to make this another great year!
