Our School
Taylor Intermediate School serves 4th–6th grade students throughout the Taylor community. Thanks to our highly qualified staff and supportive community, Taylor students consistently score above Arizona’s state average on standardized tests. At Taylor, we treat everyone with respect and are proud of the safe, friendly environment we’ve created.
The Mission of Taylor Intermediate School is to achieve excellence by creating a caring, unified and dedicated learning environment
Our vision is that students will have the strength of character to pursue academic, personal and social excellence.
Our Curriculum
At Taylor Intermediate School we use the Beyond Textbooks Curriculum as our guide. We have built in time each week for tier 2 and tier 3 instruction as well to assist students who may be struggling academically.
Title 1
Taylor Intermediate School qualifies for extended federal aid as part of the Title I program. This program ensures that our students receive the education and support they need to excel across the curriculum. We use federal funds to hire highly qualified teachers, provide for technology/curriculum improvements and training, and encourage parental involvement and volunteerism.
